Providence Grain and GrainsConnect Canada are pleased to announce an agreement (effective September 5, 2025) that strengthens opportunities for Canadian grain growers. By combining Providence Grain's deep local relationships with GrainsConnect Canada's modern and efficient supply chain, this agreement is designed to deliver more choice, more competition, and more value for farmers.

With inland storage terminals across Western Canada, GrainsConnect Canada is committed to operating with transparency, competitive pricing, and straightforward terms through its dedicated team of local merchants. Since 2016, GrainsConnect Canada has operated terminals in Alberta and Saskatchewan and has joint-ventured with Parrish & Heimbecker (P&H) on a West Coast export facility (see FGT below).

Providence Grain has long been known for its strong community presence and farmer-first approach. Through this agreement, Providence Grain will continue to operate its facilities, while grain purchased and delivered into Providence Grain's Viking, Marengo and Gaudin facilities will be contracted under GrainsConnect Canada.

This agreement recognizes the shared values of efficiency, innovation and trustworthiness at both companies. Providence Grain and GrainsConnect Canada, with this agreement, are better positioned to connect local farmers with domestic markets and global buyers through the Fraser Grain Terminal (FGT), GrainsConnect Canada's joint-venture export facility located on the Fraser Surrey Docks in Surrey, British Columbia.

We look forward to the opportunities this agreement will create for farmers, communities, and industry partners across Western Canada. For more information on this agreement, please contact your Providence Grain representative.

Sincerely,

Milt Miller
